At the 37th edition of Festuris Gramado, Portugal takes center stage as Guest of Honor , transforming the Luxury Space into a setting for exclusive experiences that reflect its essence. With a concept inspired by “Portugal is Art ,” the country presents an immersive exhibition that blends history, tradition, creativity, and authenticity.
The pavilion invites visitors to discover a universe where artistic expression manifests itself in all aspects of Portuguese life. In Portugal, art is experienced in the streets, in the waves of the Atlantic, in the flavors of its cuisine, and in the customs passed down from generation to generation. The exhibition celebrates the union between the classical and the contemporary, the sacred and the profane, the tranquility of the landscapes and the dynamism of its festivals.
The Luxury Space is consolidating itself as a meeting point for meetings and networking among the 15 Portuguese entities and companies present, under a visual communication that reinforces the country's cultural identity and its renowned hospitality.
In the exclusive bar-café, visitors can enjoy a sensory experience featuring the flavors of the Bairrada region . Full-bodied wines, artisanal cheeses, coffee, and the iconic pastel de nata (custard tart) make up a gastronomic offering designed to evoke Portuguese roots and foster memorable encounters.
One of the most anticipated moments of Portugal's participation is the presentation of the Caretos de Podence , an ancestral expression of the popular culture of northern Portugal. With their colorful costumes, masks, and chocalhos (small, decorated bells), the Caretos represent the traditional Entrudo Chocalheiro , a carnival recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, a symbol of the connection between past and present.
