What are RCD Hotels' expectations for Festuris and what new features are they presenting this year?

This is our third year with our own stand as RCD Hotels. We started this way because the company is growing every year, and today we have six brands and 16 hotels. Here we work with all segments—leisure, weddings, MICE—and visitors can access complete information on all our properties.

We love participating because southern Brazil is a region with enormous potential. We have many clients from this area, and it's a very professional trade show; you can see the caliber of the audience who seek us out and want information. We feel that RCD is already well-established in this market. At first, everyone identified us simply as Hard Rock, but now they recognize us directly as RCD Hotels, and that's very important to us.

One of the biggest new developments is the opening of UNICO 20°87° Riviera Nayarit. What can you tell us about this new hotel?

It's a source of pride. It's our newest "baby," an adults-only, all-inclusive luxury hotel located on the Mexican Pacific coast. It's a fascinating proposition: the sunsets are spectacular.

A major selling point of the hotel is its rooftop pool; the sunset views are breathtaking. I haven't visited it in person yet because it just opened, but from November 10th to 14th we're hosting a familiarization trip with travel agents, press, and influencers to officially inaugurate the property.

Our director, Leonel Reyes, is accompanying the group. It's a very special moment, and we're happy to welcome those we've always considered friends of the brand.

For travelers from South America, how do you get to Riviera Nayarit?

You fly to Puerto Vallarta, which is in the state of Jalisco, and from there our hotel is just 20 minutes away, already in the state of Nayarit, in the Nuevo Vallarta area. It's very easy to get here from Brazil or the southern part of the continent, with Aeroméxico or through US airlines, since Copa Airlines doesn't currently fly to Vallarta.

How do you analyze tourist demand from Brazil and the outlook towards the end of the year?

Brazil is always a challenging market, a real box of surprises. Just when it seems the situation is improving or worsening, something quickly changes. Any decision or announcement from the government immediately affects tourism, for better or for worse.

In any case, we're closing the year with high expectations. Tour operators are confident, Black Friday is coming, and we already have active promotions with many discounts.

Furthermore, starting in February, the electronic visa for Mexico will be implemented, eliminating the physical visa. This will be very positive because this issue has complicated things considerably for us over the last three years: there are few Mexican consulates in Brazil, and the process was slow. With the electronic visa, sales to Mexico will undoubtedly be strengthened next year.
