Antonela Ramenzoni, Sales Executive of Gran Meliá Iguazú, shares details about the luxury properties that Meliá Hotels International promotes in Argentina and the importance of their presence at the main tourism event in southern Brazil
What is the objective of Meliá's participation in Festuris?
Today we are representing Gran Meliá Iguazú and Casa Lucía, which belongs to Meliá Collection. They are the two luxury hotels that Meliá currently has in Argentina. We are here to tell all the professionals who visit our space a little more about these properties.
Tell us about the characteristics of each hotel
Casa Lucía is part of Meliá Collection, the brand that represents the most emblematic aspects of each city where it is present. In this case, it is located in Buenos Aires, on Arroyo Street, in the Recoleta neighborhood. It occupies the historic Bensich building, over 100 years old and declared a cultural heritage site of the city.
It is located very close to the main points of interest in the capital—Recoleta, Palermo, the Obelisk—and combines history, elegance, and versatility, as it welcomes both individual guests and groups within the luxury segment.
On the other hand, Gran Meliá Iguazú is another of the company's luxury brands. It is located in Puerto Iguazú, on the Argentinian side, and is the only hotel within Iguazú National Park, with an unparalleled view of the falls. What makes it unique is that our guests can access the park directly from inside the hotel, walk along the walkways in the early morning, and enjoy the experience in a privileged natural environment, in one of the natural wonders of the world
How do you evaluate your participation in this edition of Festuris?
It's a very large fair. Personally, it's my first time participating, although Meliá has participated in several previous editions. Our goal is to continue showcasing our properties, demonstrate that Meliá is experiencing strong growth in Argentina, and strengthen our presence in the Brazilian market.
How has the event started?
With a huge audience and lots of information. We are very happy to be participating this year.
