With the aim of further enriching the travel experience and diversifying its content offerings, LATAM announced the addition of Red Bull TV productions to its in-flight entertainment platform, LATAM Play . Starting in September, passengers can access more than 60 episodes, 17 documentaries, and live events from the Austrian company's digital channel, which specializes in action sports, adventure, and urban culture.
Highlights include series such as Born Racers and Life of Kai , along with documentaries dedicated to surfing, snowboarding and extreme sports, as well as independent films that portray stories of athletes, explorations in nature and artistic expressions such as breakdancing and Afro dance.
“This partnership with Red Bull TV aligns with our commitment to offering unique experiences to passengers that reflect the best of our region. It also represents a new opportunity to showcase local sports and talent, with a regularly updated library of more than 60 episodes and 17 documentaries,” said Jaime Cornejo , Cabin, In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity Manager at LATAM Airlines Group.
The executive stated that, although currently much of the South American material focuses on Brazil —especially surf productions—, the alliance will be progressively expanded to include content from other countries in the region.
These new additions join the original productions presented by LATAM during 2025, such as the Chilean podcast Modo Avión , created by Fabrizio Copano, Paloma Salas and Elisa Zulueta; the documentary Mapa Mágico de Chile , starring the illusionist Jean Paul Olhaberry; and the winning short films of the LATAM Short Film Festival , an initiative that promotes emerging audiovisual talent from Chile and Brazil.
With over 300 films, 1,000 series episodes, and 800 music albums, LATAM Play solidifies its leadership as the largest in-flight entertainment network in South America. In 2024, it added content from Disney+ , HBO Max , and Paramount+ , becoming the first group in the region to offer productions from these streaming platforms.
LATAM Play is available on all of the group's flights. On wide-body aircraft, content is projected on individual screens, while on narrow-body aircraft it can be enjoyed from personal devices connected to the play.latam.com network .
