Registration is open for the 5th Environmental Awareness Award, which recognizes companies committed to the future of the planet

Registration is officially open for the 5th edition of the Environmental Awareness Award, which will take place on June 4, 2026, at the Immensità Event Space in São Paulo. The award recognizes companies and institutions that develop initiatives with a positive socio-environmental impact and, over five years, has established itself as one of the most relevant national benchmarks in promoting corporate sustainability.

Since its inception, the award has mobilized more than 600 organizations across the country and recognized over 85 successful case studies, inspiring new leaders committed to sustainable transformation. For this edition, the expectation is to surpass the milestone of 100 award-winning cases throughout its history.

“The moment demands action. Today, more than ever, companies are called upon to lead structural transformations. Sustainability is no longer an option, it is an urgent necessity. And the award serves the purpose of recognizing those who are making a difference, both inside and outside corporate walls,” stated the project's creator, businessman Claudio Moyses.

Categories and evaluation criteria

The Environmental Awareness Award encompasses diverse participant profiles, including startups, micro, small, medium, and large companies, as well as service clubs, NGOs, and philanthropic institutions. Submitted projects must fall into one of three categories: Internal Policies, Sustainable Construction, or External Policies.

The initiatives will be evaluated by a specialized panel of experts, based on criteria such as environmental impact, innovation, scalability, and integration with local communities. The goal is to recognize exemplary practices that effectively contribute to sustainable development and the strengthening of environmental culture within organizations.

An award with a purpose.

The Environmental Awareness Award is presented by Espaço Immensità, the first development in Brazil to receive the International Certificate of High Environmental Quality (AQUA n° 001). The initiative has the support of several companies committed to ESG principles, including Trul Hotéis and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.

For André Bekerman, general manager of Trul Hotéis, supporting the award is also a matter of institutional consistency: “Our mission is aligned with ESG principles, and supporting another edition of this event reinforces our commitment to practices that go beyond hospitality. We want to inspire the entire sector and contribute to a more sustainable future.”
