From November 4 to 6, 2025, Peru participated once again in the World Travel Market London, one of the most important international tourism fairs in the world. PromPerú presented a stand with an innovative design inspired by Inca walls, a symbol of the country's history and strength

During the event, the Peruvian pavilion offered folk dance performances, tastings of superfoods, cacao, coffee, and pisco. Thirty co-exhibitors participated, promoting various regions of the country such as Amazonas, Áncash, Arequipa, Cusco, Ica, La Libertad, Lambayeque, Lima, Loreto, Madre de Dios, and Puno.

The space included cultural activities, among them live demonstrations of traditional weaving by a master weaver from Chinchero, as well as an exhibition of replicas of the Lord of Sipán's jewelry accompanied by an informative video about the ancient legacy of northern Peru.

On the first day of the event, PromPerú organized a meeting with international media, journalists, and strategic partners, with the aim of strengthening the relationship with the press and showcasing new tourism experiences in Peru. The Peruvian Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Ignacio Higueras, also participated

The British market is one of the most important for the country's inbound tourism. Between January and September 2025, visitor arrivals from the United Kingdom increased by 17% compared to the same period of the previous year, reflecting a growing interest in Peru's cultural, natural, and gastronomic diversity. Travelers stayed an average of 15 days in the country.

With a proposal that combined innovation, authenticity, and hospitality, Peru reaffirmed its commitment at WTM London 2025 to continue captivating the world with its history, biodiversity, and the warmth of its people. The country's participation in this important international tourism event was made possible thanks to PromPerú, an agency attached to the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism.
