Chile participated once again in the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, one of the world's most influential international tourism fairs, which brought together major industry players in the British capital to forge alliances, discover trends, and project the future of global tourism.
Under the international promotional brand Chile Travel, the country featured 18 national inbound tour operators, who promote unique experiences that reflect the diversity of destinations, landscapes, and cultures throughout Chile
“Due to its importance, the United Kingdom is one of our priority markets, which is why we are present with a large delegation of tourism entrepreneurs aiming to generate business and showcase the wide range of offerings our country has to offer. By diversifying our offerings and opening new routes, we are helping to overcome seasonality. This is the path towards a more sustainable and competitive Chilean tourism,” highlighted the National Director of Sernatur, Cristóbal Benítez.
The Chilean stand, covering 150 square meters, stood out for its identity and local talent. It displayed handicrafts from Quinchamalí, Rari, and Ninhue, made by women artisans who keep the country's traditions and knowledge alive. Visitors also enjoyed gastronomic experiences that included tastings of wine, chocolate, pisco, and olive oil—flavors that convey the essence of Chilean territory and its cultural identity.
