What are Curaçao's expectations for a market like Brazil?
Brazil is a very important market for us, and we have seen steady growth. We have a direct flight from Belo Horizonte with Azul, and Brazilians can also travel to Curaçao via Panama with Copa or via Bogotá with Avianca. In addition, starting in December, a new LATAM connection from Lima will be added, further facilitating connections from various Brazilian cities. At this fair, we are accompanied by 11 hotels presenting a diverse range of accommodations, from simple to luxurious, for all types of travelers.
How has tourism performed in Curaçao during 2025?
It has been a fantastic year. We are registering growth of between 10% and 16%, with very strong momentum from the Latin American markets. Argentina, for example, has grown by more than 100% this year. The progress in Colombia and Brazil is also noteworthy, while the North American market continues to grow steadily. Europe remains our main market, although its growth is more moderate, as it is very well established on the island.
What are your objectives for 2026?
Our strategy for 2026 is to continue strengthening the Latin American and North American markets. In the Caribbean context, Curaçao is very well positioned in Latin America, and we want to continue growing in that direction. We will maintain our focus on active promotion and consolidating air connectivity to further expand our presence in the region.
