In the 11th month, at 11:11, Cirque du Soleil JOYÀ celebrates its 11th anniversary with renewed energy, symbolizing the rebirth of the meteorite that gave rise to its story. Since its debut in 2014, the show has transformed the Riviera Maya into a meeting point of art, nature, and emotion, establishing itself as one of the most iconic experiences in the VidantaWorld entertainment universe.
With its pioneering dinner & show format, JOYÀ has fused gastronomy, performing arts, music and acrobatics into a multisensory experience that, over 3,438 performances, has captivated more than 1.58 million spectators.
Magnetic Hoop Diving: A New Beginning
On November 15th, JOYÀ will present a revamped version of its first major acrobatic act, Magnetic Hoop Diving, where the artists reinterpret the power of the meteorite that sets the show's story in motion. This new staging combines more organic and vibrant movements, a completely redesigned musical score, and a visual energy that intensifies the connection with the audience.
“We wanted the first acrobatic impact to feel like a real pulse, as if the meteorite were hurtling through the theater and illuminating the audience. This new version seeks to amplify that emotion,”
explained Caroline Sicard, artistic director of JOYÀ.
A legacy that transcends borders
In addition to its stunning visual presentation, JOYÀ continues to stand out for its gourmet pre-show dinner, designed to complement the stage narrative with flavors inspired by the four elements of nature. This fusion of culinary and theatrical art maintains its unique character worldwide.
For eleven years, JOYÀ has established itself as a symbol of Mexican art, culture and hospitality, projecting the country as a global benchmark in luxury entertainment.
