How has Playa Hotels & Resorts' experience been at Festuris this year?
Festuris has always been a very important event for us. Since resuming participation after the pandemic, we've seen an excellent turnout of agencies and business partners, especially wholesalers. This year, we're collaborating with Orinter, a partner that has grown significantly in production with us, although we're also visiting other clients. The quality of the fair and the professionals present is very high, which is essential for our products, because the Caribbean remains the star attraction for the Latin American market.
In addition, we are strongly promoting Los Cabos thanks to the new Copa Airlines flight, and highlighting the evolution of our brands after the merger with Hyatt.
How would you rate 2025 for the Latin American market?
For us, it has been a very positive year. Playa Hotels & Resorts' presence in the region was strong and consistent, and we see that Latin American customers—from Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, Uruguay, Peru, and Colombia—continue to choose the Caribbean as their primary vacation destination.
Within the Playa Hotels & Resorts portfolio, which are the most successful destinations today?
Currently, the Dominican Republic is our top destination. However, Mexico remains a very important market for the entire region and maintains strong demand.
Can you give us a preview of any projects planned for next year?
We cannot yet share specific details, but we are working on developments that will further strengthen our presence in key Caribbean destinations.
