Arakur strengthens its positioning in Brazil and highlights its comprehensive offering at Festuris

What did Arakur come to present at Festuris?

Arakur is a hotel that has already celebrated its 10th anniversary and has been part of The Leading Hotels of the World since its opening, guaranteeing a seal of quality. It is located in the Cerro Alarkén Nature Reserve, a few minutes from downtown Ushuaia, with unique panoramic views of the Beagle Channel and the city.

It currently has 130 rooms, heated pools, and various wellness areas

In addition, we work with experience packages: from walks and transfers to excursions to glaciers and the National Park. We also have our own department, Arakur Experience, which organizes all the activities offered.

For winter, we offer ski packages in conjunction with Cerro Castor, which include transfers, equipment, and lift tickets. The idea is that guests can organize their entire stay directly with Arakur.

As for the Brazilian market, it is currently our most important market. This past winter season, it even surpassed the domestic market, with record numbers of visitors in July and August.

What has the experience of participating in Festuris been like, and what level of interest do you observe among the professionals who attend?

This is my second year at Festuris, and I've noticed that Ushuaia is positioning itself as the top ski destination for many Brazilians. Previously, destinations like Chile or Bariloche predominated, but now Ushuaia is increasingly present in travel decisions, driven by the quality of the snow and the infrastructure of Cerro Castor

Even so, I think Ushuaia needs more promotion in the summer, because it's a year-round destination. Now the penguin and cruise seasons are approaching, which are also very busy.

The interest is there, and the feedback we're receiving from agencies is very positive.
