Emirates is finalizing details for a prominent participation in the Dubai Airshow 2025, where it will showcase a wide variety of innovative products and introduce technologies that anticipate the transformation of air travel in the coming years.
During the event, the airline will showcase the three commercial aircraft in its fleet: the Airbus A380, the Boeing 777, and the Airbus A350, its most recent addition. Also on permanent display will be the recently acquired Gamebird GB1 and the Diamond DA42-VI from the Emirates Flight Training Academy (EFTA).
Technological innovation in the foreground
Emirates' stand will offer visitors a glimpse into the future of air travel through AI-powered experiences. Key highlights include the Smart Corridor, an advanced biometric corridor capable of verifying identities in real time without the need for physical documents. Also featured is the new Biometric Selfie Registration system, recently integrated into the Emirates app.
The airline will also showcase its AI-Enhanced Customer Handling feature, developed using NVIDIA infrastructure. This system automatically identifies customers using IoT cameras strategically placed throughout the airport, providing real-time visibility and enabling more personalized service. The first phase of testing will take place in the First Class Check-in area of Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport (DXB), with a phased rollout to Emirates Lounges in all concourses.
Another new feature will be the presentation of the Smart Skies Turbulence Management System, a multidimensional approach designed to improve safety, comfort and efficiency by optimizing turbulence management.
Circular design and new uses for aeronautical materials
The Aircrafted by Emirates initiative, developed by Emirates Engineering, introduces a new range of products created from reclaimed materials. The Atelier Collection features the innovative Morphing Coffee Table, while the Maintenance Collection showcases prototypes such as The Tricycle, The Mechanic Apron, and The Tool Belt, all made from high-strength materials and designed for operational use.
Pieces from previous collections will also be on display, maintaining the appeal for collectors and aviation enthusiasts. The Aircrafted KIDS – The Fabric Collection charity line has already distributed more than 3,700 backpacks in Africa and Asia, while The Leather Collection offers bags and accessories available through The Emirates Official Store.
Emirates will also showcase sustainable products used on board, such as the Business Class loungewear set made from botanical fibers, the exclusive VOYA line of amenities, and Economy Class blankets produced from recycled plastic.
An edition dedicated to the future of aviation
The Dubai Airshow 2025 will take place from November 17 to 21 at its purpose-built venue in Dubai World Central, under the theme “The Future is Here.” The event will bring together thousands of visitors, manufacturers, and industry leaders to explore emerging trends and the most significant advancements in aviation and space.
Emirates will open the first evening's air show with a special flyover featuring the Airbus A350, A380 and Boeing 777, accompanied by other commercial airlines from the United Arab Emirates.
