Spirit Airlines adds and restarts its services in Latin America and the Caribbean

“We know our customers want to connect with loved ones and exciting new destinations this holiday season, and our expanded services will make it easier for them to get there,” said Andrea Lusso, Vice President of Service Planning at Spirit Airlines. “Customers can enjoy even more travel options between the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean, with greater savings and more convenience for their 2026 vacations and trips.”

Among the most notable new features are:

San Juan (SJU): Resumes daily service to Newark (EWR) and Boston (BOS) on December 18, 2025, increases service to three times a day to Orlando (MCO) on December 18 and to twice a day to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) on December 5.

Lima (LIM): Increases daily service to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) on December 4, 2025, with one-stop connections to 13 U.S. cities.

Guayaquil (GYE): Resumes daily service to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) on December 4, 2025, with one-stop connections to 17 U.S. cities.

Managua (MGA): Increases to one daily service to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) on December 5, 2025, with one-stop connections to 16 U.S. cities.

San Salvador (SAL): Resumes daily flights to Houston (IAH) and daily flights to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) on December 4, 2025, with one-stop connections to 17 U.S. cities.

Medellín (MDE): Increases service to Orlando (MCO) to two daily flights starting December 4, 2025, with one-stop connections to 25 U.S. cities.

Armenia (AXM): Increases service to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) to five flights per week starting January 8, 2026, with one-stop connections to 26 cities.

Belize City (BZE): Launches three-times-weekly service to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) on November 21, 2025, with one-stop connections to 19 U.S. cities.

Grand Cayman (GCM): Launches three-times-weekly service to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) on December 4, 2025, with one-stop connections to 26 cities.
