Paraguay and the United Kingdom outline actions to strengthen the tourism sector

Progress is being made on a joint agenda to promote sustainable tourism, attract investment and strengthen international projection

The Minister of Tourism, Angie Duarte, received a visit from the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Paraguay, Danielle Dunne, during which they outlined bilateral cooperation actions aimed at strengthening the tourism sector.

The minister highlighted the initiatives promoted by the National Tourism Secretariat (Senatur), in terms of sustainable tourism development, international positioning and consolidation of the country's tourism offer.

They discussed international events promoted by Paraguay, including the Bird Fair that will take place in our country in 2026.

They also discussed the possibility of attracting tourism investments from the United Kingdom, with the aim of further strengthening the sector.

The meeting also covered topics related to sustainability, responsible tourism, innovation and new opportunities for technical cooperation, reaffirming the commitment to strengthen ties between Paraguay and the United Kingdom in the tourism sector.
