PromPerú announced its participation in the 33rd edition of FIT AVIT 2025, the international tourism fair taking place from November 19 to 21 at the Cerro Juli Convention Center in Arequipa. The event, organized by the Arequipa Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (AVIT), brings together more than 1,500 industry professionals, including travel agencies, tour operators, airlines, hotels, and representatives from national and international destinations.

In this edition, Promperú is promoting the presence of regional companies associated with the "Y tú qué planes" platform, from Ayacucho, Cusco, Moquegua, Puno, Piura, San Martín, and Ica. Additionally, a space is dedicated to promoting the Pope Leo XIII Route, with the participation of representatives from Lambayeque and La Libertad, as part of efforts to diversify the country's cultural and religious tourism offerings.

As part of its agenda, Promperú will lead training seminars focused on technological innovation, new market trends, and strengthening tourism routes. Cultural activities will also be developed to promote regional identities in national and international markets.

Additionally, the institution is organizing a familiarization trip for buyers from the Chilean market to boost the promotion of southern Peru as a competitive destination for international tourism. With over three decades of experience, FIT AVIT is now one of the leading tourism networking and marketing platforms in southern Peru.
