In a favorable context for the travel industry in the region, Assist Card, a leader in comprehensive travel assistance in Latin America, together with Iberia, a leading airline in connectivity between Latin America and Europe, announce a strategic alliance that will mark a change in the way people travel, generating a more dynamic, faster, friendlier and, at the same time, safer user experience.

Through this agreement, all passengers who purchase their airline tickets through Iberia - in Latin American countries - will be able to access all Assist Card products through the Spanish airline's direct sales channels.

These policies cover amounts from USD 60,000 to USD 3,000,000, and offer the option to include special products designed exclusively for this agreement at preferential prices. This proposal undoubtedly aims to provide peace of mind, security, and a superior travel experience for every Iberia Group customer.

In the event of any unforeseen situation during their trip, Iberia passengers can contact Assist Card through all its platforms, including the app, WhatsApp, and website, ensuring an optimal user experience with self-management and personalized, high-quality support 24/7. They can also contact the call center and/or visit Assist Card's retail locations, both in boutique stores and at major airports throughout the region.

The first stage of implementation of this alliance between both leading brands will cover Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, the Dominican Republic and Uruguay.

“It is a source of pride to seal this commercial alliance with Grupo Iberia, an airline of such global prestige that trusts in the quality and excellence of our service across five continents. This agreement reinforces our commitment to passengers and to tourism, raising our standards of personalized service and fostering a culture of safe travel,” said Carlos Stefani, CEO of Assist Card.

Assist Card and Grupo Iberia project that, through this long-term commercial agreement, the sales volume of the comprehensive travel assistance company will grow steadily, hand in hand with the passengers of the Iberia group.

“Iberia’s goal is always not only to improve the product offered to customers, but also to create an ecosystem of services and solutions that help make their flight experience the best it can be. That’s why this alliance with Assist Card is a fundamental step in increasing coverage for the airline’s passengers in any of the destinations they travel to in Latin America and providing greater support in case of an unforeseen event,” said Marina Colunga, Commercial Director of Iberia for Latin America.

Today, the Iberia Group operates flights to 16 countries and 18 airports in the region, a number that will soon increase with the opening of three new destinations: Recife and Fortaleza in Brazil, and Monterrey in Mexico. During 2025, Iberia has offered a total of 5.5 million seats connecting Latin America with Europe, consolidating its leading position on this air route.

For its part, Assist Card provides direct traveler assistance service in more than 190 countries, on five continents, with personalized multilingual attention, anytime, anywhere.
