From Montreal, Air Canada will offer direct flights three times a week to Berlin, the capital of Germany, and three times a week to Nantes, France. The airline will also inaugurate flights to Ponta Delgada, in the Azores, from Toronto, and add its second international destination from Halifax with flights to Brussels. In addition, Air Canada will resume its seasonal Montreal–Tel Aviv route next summer.
“Air Canada continues to expand its comprehensive transatlantic network to offer customers even more exciting destinations to discover. From Canada to Berlin, Ponta Delgada, Nantes, and Brussels, we are strategically increasing new direct routes across Europe to provide convenient access to key destinations, strengthen economic ties, and support tourism,” said Mark Galardo, Air Canada Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, and President of the Cargo division.
“With these additions, Air Canada will offer the second largest transatlantic network for destinations across North America next summer. We look forward to connecting Montreal, Toronto, and Halifax with new services and destinations, a natural step in our continued international growth,” Galardo concluded.
The addition of these new services complements the previously announced international expansion for summer 2026, with new routes to Palma de Mallorca and Catania (Sicily) from Montreal, to Shanghai and Budapest from Toronto, and the extension of year-round service to Bangkok from Vancouver. In summer 2026, Air Canada will connect Canada to more than 126 global destinations, offering up to 155,000 seats per week across the Atlantic, Pacific, and South America.
