New direct flights fuel Aruba's boom this summer

Despegar, Latin America's leading travel technology company, highlights the launch of Aerolíneas Argentinas' new direct flights to Aruba, one of the most sought-after islands in the Caribbean, which will operate exclusively until March and April 2026. The addition of these routes further boosts interest in the destination, which was already showing sustained growth in demand.

Searches for Aruba saw a 199% increase in the last month, considering check-in dates for December, January, and February. This trend solidifies the island's position as one of the top destinations for Argentine travelers in the summer of 2026.
In this new seasonal operation, Aerolíneas Argentinas will offer two direct routes from provinces other than Buenos Aires. Mendoza will have flights on Fridays until January and February; Córdoba will have flights on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays; and Buenos Aires will have flights on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This service will be available exclusively until March and April for the provinces of Córdoba and Buenos Aires, offering a faster, more comfortable, and convenient alternative for those who wish to travel without connections and enjoy the beaches and experiences that Aruba offers during the high season.
