Civitatis, the leading platform for tours and activities for Spanish-speaking travelers, today announced the appointment of Arturo Moreno as Chief Supply & Data Officer.
Moreno, who has served as Chief Strategy & Data Officer for the past six years, will now assume leadership of the Supply area - which is being elevated to an independent executive division - and will continue to lead the Data & AI transformation across the company.
This restructuring is part of Civitatis' strategy to place Supply at the heart of its growth model. Arturo Moreno is a professional with six years of experience at Civitatis, possessing in-depth knowledge of the business from a strategic and data analysis perspective—essential elements for leading the evolution of inventory management.
Under Arturo's leadership, the Supply team will adopt a more strategic, data-driven approach to strengthen product curation and quality, while driving the Marketplace's evolution toward a more competitive model that increases the variety of suppliers. The goal is to always guarantee the best offerings and availability for the customer, focusing on the breadth and comprehensiveness of the catalog and its alignment with demand, intensifying efforts in categories such as ticketing and private tours.
This new independent position focuses on inventory management and optimizing the match between supply and demand, an essential function to reinforce the company's growth and take advantage of current trends in the tourism sector.
Continuity and evolution in leadership.
Enrique Espinel, who retains his position as COO, with a special focus on international expansion after leading the Supply team for 10 years, highlights the significance of this organizational evolution: “Arturo’s promotion and the creation of the independent role of Chief Supply Officer reflect our maturity and strategic vision. With Arturo at the helm, we strengthen our ability to select the best activities, guaranteeing the most comprehensive, accessible, and highest-quality offering for Spanish-speaking travelers anywhere in the world.”
For her part, Inma López continues to play an essential role within the Supply team, leading commercial operations and relations with operators, a key area for maintaining long-term relationships with our 7,000 global operators.
