The event featured Laura Teruel, president of the Chamber, alongside Daniel Scioli, Secretary of Tourism, Environment and Sports, and Bernardo Martín, president of EMTur. It brought together business leaders, professionals, and key figures in the tourism sector from across the country for a day focused on innovation, inspiration, and strengthening female leadership in the industry.

The Secretary of Tourism, Environment and Sports of the Nation, Daniel Scioli, highlighted the event, emphasizing the strength of the tourism sector and opened an enriching debate of proposals to the public with the commitment to continue working together between the public and private sectors to boost tourism.
For his part, Bernardo Martín, president of the Mar del Plata Tourism and Culture Board, emphasized: “We work alongside the Argentine Chamber of Tourism (CAT) and Secretary Scioli throughout the year to promote Mar del Plata. Hosting an event like the CAT Women Summit in our city is a testament to this collaboration. This event, where women are working towards leadership, allows us to continue moving forward in an inclusive way and delving deeper into the aspects of innovation and leadership.”
The event featured the participation of Connie Ansaldi, CEO of CUX AI and a renowned expert in innovation, branding and personal branding, who gave a presentation on strategic creativity, the impact of artificial intelligence and professional positioning in a constantly changing world.
The meeting also included the presentation of EMTUR Mar del Plata – Smart Destination, where Valeria Méndez explained the progress, tools and developments that are positioning Mar del Plata as a more innovative, accessible tourist destination focused on the visitor experience.
Valeria Méndez, Director of the Mar del Plata Municipal Tourism and Culture Board, highlighted, “We are very pleased that the CAT Women Summit was held in Mar del Plata, and more specifically at the Hermitage Hotel, an iconic landmark of our city. During the event, we were able to share the path of innovation that Mar del Plata is undertaking to become a Smart Tourism Destination (STD), as well as the international strategy of Visit Mar del Plata, our new global brand positioning.”
The event, supported by the Secretariat of Tourism, Environment and Sports, Aerolíneas Argentinas, AEHG Mar del Plata, Aquopolis, and Cabrales, reaffirmed the commitment to promoting spaces for dialogue, training, and advancement for women in tourism. It is also worth noting that this edition of the CAT Women Summit had the support and participation of Mar del Plata businessman Florencio Aldrey.
With this edition, the Argentine Chamber of Tourism consolidates the CAT Women Summit as one of the most relevant spaces in the country to promote female talent, innovation and professional development within the tourism sector.
