IATA emphasizes airlines´ right to prioritize safety in operational decisions

Airlines have publicly stated their willingness to resume services to Venezuela as soon as the necessary conditions exist to do so safely and efficiently.

Therefore, IATA urges governments and stakeholders to respect airlines' responsibility to make safety-based decisions, reinforcing the principle that, while the skies must remain open, safety and legal compliance must always prevail.
