The new route will feature five weekly flights, expanding connectivity and offering direct, comfortable, and efficient service. They explained that this launch comes amid strong growth in traffic between Argentina and the Dominican Republic. During the first half of 2025, the number of Argentine tourists visiting the country increased by 89.5% compared to the same period in 2024, positioning Argentina as the third largest source of tourists to the Dominican Republic, with projections of reaching approximately 450,000 visitors in 2025.
The airline highlighted that the operation in Córdoba responds to the growing demand in the Argentine market for direct flights to the Caribbean. This new entry point complements its existing presence in Buenos Aires and significantly expands connectivity opportunities for thousands of passengers who can now access not only Punta Cana, but also the regional network of destinations that Arajet operates from the Dominican Republic.
“The response from the Cordoba market has exceeded our expectations from day one. Demand has been extraordinary and confirms the enormous potential of this connection. Our goal is to continue growing until we reach seven weekly flights,” stated José Cabrera, Vice President of Communications at Arajet.
Arajet's arrival in Córdoba reinforces its vision of connecting the continent with the lowest prices on the market and opens new alternatives for tourism, expanding access to multiple destinations in North, Central, and South America. With this inauguration, Arajet reaffirms its commitment to the Argentine market and its expansion strategy in the Southern Cone.
