Royal Caribbean extends its Caribbean adventures to 2027-2028

It's island hopping time, and Royal Caribbean is introducing new ways to explore the Caribbean in 2027-28. Starting in April 2027, families and vacationers can relax or embark on adventures aboard 13 Royal Caribbean ships, from the bold new Legend of the Seas and the amplified Allure of the Seas to action-packed getaways from Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Port Canaveral (Orlando) and Tampa, Florida; New Orleans; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Cartagena, Colombia; and Colón, Panama. The new 2027-28 season adventures are available now on the Royal Caribbean website, and Crown & Anchor Society loyalty program members can book today ahead of the official launch on Wednesday, December 10.

Vacationers can choose from idyllic locations in the Western, Eastern, and Southern Caribbean on a variety of three- to nine-night adventures, including visits to the brand's top-rated resort, Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas, and Royal Beach Clubs on Paradise Island and Cozumel in 2026 for the ultimate beach days. All of these adventures are part of Royal Caribbean's growing collection of top destinations, which includes the highly anticipated Perfect Day Mexico, slated to debut in late 2027, with an opening date to be revealed in 2026. Tropical getaways also continue at bucket-list destinations like the new Puerto Samaná, a haven of lush rainforests, the famous Salto del Limón waterfall, and pristine beaches, at one of three idyllic ports in the Dominican Republic included in Royal Caribbean's 2027-28 itinerary.

Island hopping adventures all year round and in season

Allure of the Seas – Sailing from Fort Lauderdale starting in May 2027 and from Miami starting in November 2027.
The revolutionary amplified Oasis Class returns to Fort Lauderdale this summer, offering six- and eight-night Western and Southern Caribbean adventures, including visits to Perfect Day at CocoCay; Willemstad, Curaçao; Falmouth, Jamaica; and more. For those seeking to escape the winter chill, Allure heads to Miami in November 2027 for a seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean vacation, visiting destinations like Samaná, where vacationers can relax on white-sand beaches, hike through the rainforest, or take in breathtaking scenery. In addition, travelers can enjoy new on-deck favorites like the Pesky Parrot tiki bar for tropical cocktails and soft drinks, and the redesigned pool deck.

Freedom of the Seas – From Miami starting in April 2027,
Freedom will sail all season from Miami on four, five, seven, and nine-night Caribbean adventures, visiting destinations such as Curaçao, Aruba, Royal Caribbean's Perfect Day at CocoCay, Nassau, and more.

Adventure of the Seas – From Port Canaveral (Orlando) Starting in April 2027,
Adventure will spend both the summer and winter seasons in Port Canaveral (Orlando). Travelers will enjoy a combination of four-, five-, and nine-night vacations to destinations such as Perfect Day at CocoCay, the best beach days at the Royal Beach Clubs in Nassau and Cozumel, and more.

Enchantment of the Seas – From Tampa starting in April 2027.
Adventurers can explore sun-drenched destinations on five- and seven-night Western Caribbean vacations to Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico, starting in April 2027. Enchantment will then offer shorter four- and five-night Western Caribbean getaways starting in November 2027 for those who want to make the most of their vacation.

Grandeur of the Seas – Departing from San Juan starting in May 2027 and from Colón and Cartagena starting in December 2027.
Grandeur will kick off summer in San Juan with seven-night Southern Caribbean vacations, visiting destinations such as Tortola, British Virgin Islands; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; Castries, St. Lucia, and more. During the winter, Grandeur will take vacationers on unparalleled seven-night ABC islands adventures from two tropical Latin American ports – Colón and Cartagena – sailing to the shores of Willemstad, the white-sand beaches of Oranjestad, Aruba, and beyond.

Legend of the Seas – From Fort Lauderdale Starting November 2027.
The Icon Class’s bold vacations, debuting in July 2026, will return to Fort Lauderdale starting winter 2027 after their European adventure. After spending the summer season in Cape Liberty, the innovative and original Oasis Class ship will call Fort Lauderdale home. Adventurers can enjoy short three- or four-night getaways to Perfect Day at CocoCay and Nassau, where travelers can purchase a day pass to the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, opening in December 2025. Onboard, thrill-seekers can enjoy the Perfect Storm water slide and The Ultimate Abyss dry slide, or celebrate in venues like The Lime & Coconut for tropical cocktails, the Music Hall for live music, and the AquaTheater for breathtaking shows.

Mariner of the Seas – From New Orleans Starting November 2027,
Mariner will return from Europe and call New Orleans home for the 2027-28 winter and spring seasons. Families can explore the Western Caribbean on six- to nine-night adventures to a variety of sunny destinations, including Belize City, Roatán, and Cozumel, where vacationers can enjoy the ultimate beach day at Royal Beach Club Cozumel.

Rhapsody of the Seas – From San Juan Beginning November 2027.
Starting in November 2027, Rhapsody will spend the winter and spring in San Juan, where vacationers can escape to idyllic destinations such as St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands; St. Johns, Antigua; Castries; and Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis, on six- to eight-night getaways. Between island-hopping trips, families can create more memories together by climbing more than 40 feet above the deck, lounging by the pool, and enjoying dazzling Broadway-style shows.

Jewel of the Seas – From Fort Lauderdale starting April 2027.
From April through November 2027, Jewel will offer the ultimate weekend getaway with three- and four-night Perfect Day adventures at CocoCay and Nassau. Vacationers can visit the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, combining the beauty and spirit of the Bahamas with Royal Caribbean experiences when it opens in December 2025.
