Travelsoft, a leading global provider of technology for the travel industry, announces the acquisition of proQuest Computersysteme GmbH, the company behind airQuest, a high-performance flight management solution used by major German tour operators and large travel companies across Europe. The transaction strengthens Travelsoft's leadership in flight automation, expands its comprehensive aviation technology portfolio, and reinforces its position in the German-speaking market.

With this news, the Travelsoft group further strengthens its position as one of the world's most comprehensive travel technology ecosystems. With over €45 billion in annual bookings, more than 65 million passengers per year, and the support of a team of over 700 travel technology experts, Travelsoft significantly expands the depth of its flight automation capabilities.

Travelsoft acquires 100% of proQuest Computersysteme GmbH, developer of the airQuest flight management solution.
airQuest automates ticketing, booking changes, cancellations, payments, and accounting for high-volume scheduled airline sales.

The solution is used by major German tour operators and European travel companies that require robust, industrial-grade flight operations.

The airQuest team, led by CEO Ulrich Sambeth, will continue operating and maintain its total focus on customer service and product innovation.

airQuest will be progressively connected to Travelsoft's platforms, which are already connected to Atcore, a service provider for major German tour operators.

With the addition of airQuest, Travelsoft strengthens the depth and coverage of its air travel capabilities across the entire travel value chain. The group now offers a comprehensive suite of services encompassing search, booking, NDC connectivity, fare management, automated ticketing, service delivery, and financial reconciliation. This acquisition also accelerates Travelsoft's expansion in Germany, leveraging Traffics' strong presence among travel agencies and Atcore's existing service to major German tour operators.
