Turkish Airlines, the airline that flies to the most countries according to Guinness World Records®, announces a series of enhancements designed to elevate the onboard experience, focusing on what passengers value most: comfort, high-quality cuisine, and seamless access to travel information. The upgrades include a completely revamped Economy Class service concept for medium- and long-haul flights, as well as the integration of digital menus into the entertainment system, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and hospitality.
The airline is introducing a redesigned food service that expands the variety of flavors, improves the presentation, and offers Economy Class passengers a more complete culinary experience. Among the improvements are:
Larger trays allow for a more spacious and organized presentation.
Three hot meal options offer greater culinary variety.
An expanded beverage selection now includes tomato juice, homemade lemonade, and freshly brewed ayran.
Hot towels are available for the first time in Economy Class.
A wider variety of breads is also available, with two types served during meals.
These enhancements reinforce Turkish Airlines' reputation as a world leader in in-flight dining. Inspired by Turkey's rich culinary heritage and prepared with fresh ingredients and artisanal methods that distinguish the airline's dining experience, its service has received multiple accolades at the Skytrax World Airline Awards, including Best Business Class Catering. Turkish Airlines is widely recognized for offering one of the most refined culinary experiences in commercial aviation.
Turkish Airlines has integrated its food and beverage menus into the
in-flight entertainment system on select aircraft, allowing passengers to view their options directly from their individual screens. This makes the experience more intuitive, sustainable, and convenient by reducing the use of printed materials.
Digital menus are now available for Business Class passengers on domestic flights and for all passengers on international and long-haul routes. The feature continues to roll out across the entire fleet.
OneTeam Strengthens Turkish Hospitality on 65 Routes.
The OneTeam Passionately Turkish program, which trains crews to provide more personalized and consistent service, is now operating on 65 routes and includes nearly 7,000 trained crew members. The project also incorporates Performance Coaches, instructors selected from among the senior Cabin Chiefs, who accompany certain flights to ensure standardization and service excellence.
More intuitive Wi-Fi at Istanbul Airport:
Passengers now receive notifications that make it easier to connect to the free Wi-Fi service at Istanbul Airport. This eliminates the need to queue at kiosks and simplifies the access process. The initiative is part of Turkish Airlines' strategy to expand its digital touchpoints and make the passenger journey even more seamless.
