OK Mobility and Meliá Hotels International have formed a new strategic alliance that will allow members of the MeliáRewards loyalty program to earn points when booking a vehicle through the global mobility platform. This agreement reinforces both companies' commitment to creating more integrated travel experiences with added benefits for their most loyal customers.
From now on, members of the hotel chain's loyalty program can earn 6 points for every euro or dollar spent on car rental bookings made through the OK Mobility website. This benefit is valid at any of the more than 70 OK Mobility stores operating in 17 countries across four continents.
The signing of the agreement took place at OK Mobility's headquarters in Palma de Mallorca, where its Founder and Executive Chairman, Othman Ktiri, welcomed the Chairman and CEO of Meliá Hotels International, Gabriel Escarrer.
For Othman Ktiri, this alliance “represents a significant milestone in our mission to integrate services that simplify and improve the customer experience, connecting their mobility with their hotel stay in a natural and efficient way.”
For his part, Gabriel Escarrer emphasized that this collaboration “strengthens the value proposition of MeliáRewards, expanding opportunities to accumulate points and consolidating our commitment to the customer experience, accompanying them at every stage of their journey.”
Both OK Mobility and Meliá share origins in Mallorca and are part of Exceltur, an association chaired by Gabriel Escarrer that brings together the main companies in the Spanish tourism sector and promotes a responsible and sustainable tourism model.
This agreement, in addition to generating new value opportunities for the hotel group's most loyal customers, reinforces its competitive positioning within the tourism sector and its commitment to continue establishing collaborations that expand the value proposition to its customers, offering increasingly comprehensive and global travel experiences.
