Civitatis, the world's leading online platform for guided tours and excursions in Spanish, celebrated the end of 2025 in Argentina with exponential growth in every aspect.
This year, the company not only doubled its number of Argentine users and increased its sales by more than 100% overall (B2C and B2B channels) compared to last year, but also strengthened its relationship with travel agencies, through which it also registered a 100% increase in sales compared to 2014.
“This year was extremely positive for Civitatis in Argentina and the region with a sustained increase in bookings for activities and excursions and the addition of more than one million new users to the platform,” said Nicolás Posse, Country Manager of Civitatis for Argentina and responsible for Business Development for Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay.
“In addition, we achieved a 94% growth in bookings of activities offered by Civitatis through travel agencies, thus strengthening our B2B model, through which more than 200,000 new clients were added,” Posse highlighted.
These achievements were celebrated with an exclusive luncheon featuring the leading tour operators and travel agents, who stood out for leading sales of their products in this market.
“Travel agencies are Civitatis’s main ally both in Argentina and globally. Our goal is to continue strengthening this sales channel, supporting them with more training, benefits, and a presence at the country’s main fairs, events, and workshops, among other actions,” said Posse.
Civitatis already works jointly with more than 3,000 travel agencies in Argentina and the plan is to continue expanding this link.
A successful 2025
Today there are already more than two million Argentine travelers who have booked one of the 90,000 experiences offered by the platform in 4,000 destinations in 160 countries, and with this figure, Argentina consolidates itself as the second market with the highest demand in the world, only behind Spain.
On the other hand, the company is also making progress in adding more tourism experiences in Argentine destinations to its platform. To this end, it is working on establishing connections with official tourism agencies and local providers in each city and/or municipality to add high-quality activities to its global offerings.
“This initiative not only expands our catalog but also helps to boost regional economies and the tourism offerings of each destination through a global community of more than 40 million travelers,” Posse emphasized.
Thanks to this initiative, Civitatis now offers more than 1,600 activities in 80 national destinations with a 9.1/10 rating and more than 5 million real reviews.
Looking ahead to 2026, Posse concluded that “our goal is to continue strengthening our presence in Argentina and the region, both through direct customer channels and through travel agencies and tour operators. Furthermore, we continue to finalize new agreements with other companies in the sector, such as airlines, frequent flyer programs, and transportation companies, among other industry segments, to reach an ever-growing number of travelers with our offering.”
“By 2026, we plan to significantly expand our range of experiences in emerging destinations both in Argentina and around the world, continue investing in technology to improve the user experience and supplier management, strengthen our partnership strategy with local operators and travel agencies, and boost brand positioning campaigns, among other things,” the executive concluded.
