Avianca announced that, following the update of security guidelines issued by the United States authorities, which allow the resumption of airline industry operations in the airspace over Aruba, Curacao and San Juan, the airline will resume its flights to and from these destinations with immediate effect.

Customers with active reservations will receive notifications and will be contacted by the customer service team with their new itineraries.

Passengers wishing to reschedule their flights can do so on the same route, at no additional cost and subject to availability, for travel up to 14 days after the date of their new itinerary, by contacting the airline's customer service center.

Customers who have requested refunds for unused portions can continue with that process.

Avianca recommends that passengers traveling to or from these destinations check the status of their flights and stay informed through the company's official channels.

The company will continue to closely monitor the situation and, as it has done from the beginning, will follow all necessary instructions to ensure the safety of its crews and passengers.
