At FITUR 2026, Mexico will assume a leading role as Partner Country, solidifying one of the most significant participations at the event. Its presence will extend beyond IFEMA Madrid, integrating into various urban spaces and reinforcing the destination's international standing.
The country will have the largest pavilion in the Americas, showcasing a renewed and dynamic proposal that will bring together all 32 states of the Republic. The initiative will include the promotion of new routes, emerging destinations, and authentic experiences, reflecting the natural, cultural, and social diversity of the territory.
The Secretary of Tourism, Josefina Rodríguez Zamora, stated that the objective is to showcase a genuine country, rich in history, flavors, and traditions, and for the Spanish capital to become a gateway to experiencing the warmth of its people and the strength of its communities.
For the first time, the activations linked to a Partner Country will also take place in different parts of the city, through experiential spaces that will highlight the Magical Towns, folk art and traditional expressions.
