FITUR4all, the FITUR section dedicated to accessible and inclusive tourism and organized in collaboration with IMPULSA IGUALDAD, is moving forward with preparations for its 2026 edition, with the FITUR4all Awards nominations closing soon and its strategic working groups finalized. The event will take place in a particularly significant context for the sector, marked by structural progress and increased international visibility.

The professional conference, to be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, will focus on the new Spain brand, “Think you know Spain? Think again,” and will take place after a year considered key for the global positioning of accessible tourism. In September 2025, TUR4all Travel presented its Accessible Tourism Trends Report , which confirmed the consolidation of this segment as one of the fastest-growing and most influential within international tourism, positioning Spain as a benchmark both as a destination and as a source market.

With over 1.3 billion people with disabilities worldwide and an increasingly aging global population, accessibility is becoming a strategic factor that transcends the social dimension to become a long-term economic opportunity. In this context, FITUR4all positions itself as a leading forum for the analysis, knowledge exchange, and promotion of a more inclusive, competitive, and sustainable tourism model.

The FITUR4all 2026 program will bring together public administrations, tourist destinations, companies in the sector and international organizations, and will address key issues such as Spain's positioning in the main international markets, the role of destinations in the design of inclusive tourism experiences, the transformation of the sector from the private sector and accessibility as a global vector of change in the tourism model.

One of the highlights of the day will be the presentation of the FITUR4all 2026 Awards, which recognize destinations, companies, and initiatives leading the way in developing accessible and inclusive solutions in the tourism sector. The deadline for submitting nominations is approaching.

The agenda will be completed with high-level discussion panels, micro-presentations of innovative projects and networking spaces, consolidating FITUR4all as a leading international meeting point for accessible tourism within the FITUR framework.

Miguel Carrasco, director of the Accessibility, Culture and Inclusive Tourism Area of IMPULSA IGUALDAD, pointed out that accessibility has become a key factor of quality, competitiveness and innovation for the entire tourism sector, and highlighted Spain's opportunity to lead this transformation process on a global scale.
