The Lunar New Year celebration returned to Disney California Adventure Park from January 23 to February 22, 2026, transforming Disneyland Resort in California into a meeting point of tradition, color, and flavors inspired by Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cultures.
As part of this edition, Disneyland Resort unveiled the Disney Eats Foodie Guide, revealing more than 50 specialty dishes and beverages available both in the park and in Downtown Disney District and the Disneyland Resort Hotels. The culinary offerings included 35 new creations, as well as collectible options designed for guests.
Among the new dishes, the Japchae Noodles with grilled short rib at Longevity Noodle Co, the Guava dragon fruit cocktail at Bamboo Blessings, the Spicy pork belly grilled cheese at Pym Test Kitchen, and the Mandarin orange cream puff at Red Dragon Spice Traders stood out.
The experience was complemented by the Sip and Savor Pass, available in three collectible designs, which offered six coupons redeemable for dishes and non-alcoholic beverages at marketplaces and selected points within Disney California Adventure Park.
Entertainment was also a highlight of the season. For the first time, visitors could meet Mei Panda from Pixar Animation Studios' Turning Red in her full red panda form. In addition, several characters debuted costumes inspired by cultural traditions, such as Donald Duck and Daisy Duck in Chinese attire, and Goofy and Clarabelle Cow in Vietnamese-inspired outfits.
Another highlight was the return of Mulan's Lunar New Year Procession, led by Horace Horsecollar and dedicated especially to the Year of the Horse, with Chip & Dale participating in new Chinese-inspired outfits.
With this comprehensive proposal, Disneyland Resort in California reaffirmed its commitment to offering themed experiences that combine gastronomy, culture and entertainment for audiences from all over the world.
