As we welcome 2026, the island's stunning Eagle Beach has been named the number one beach in the Caribbean and the third best in the world by TripAdvisor's Travelers' Choice Awards in the "Best Beaches" category. Additionally, Baby Beach, located on the south side of the island, has secured fourth place in the Caribbean. With these accolades, Aruba proudly maintains its position as the Caribbean's premier beach destination, a perfect location for MICE groups seeking fun in the sun and unforgettable experiences in a tropical paradise.
Beyond the beaches, Aruba's diverse landscapes and rich cultural heritage enrich the group experience with a connection to nature, authentic cultural experiences, and memorable locations. Aruba's conservation and sustainability efforts are showcased in Arikok National Park, where over 33 square kilometers (approximately 18% of Aruba's land area) encompass a nature reserve protecting the island's flora and fauna. The park also offers the opportunity to explore Aruba's past through preserved historical sites, including caves with Native American petroglyphs. The park offers a fascinating array of excursions for MICE groups, such as ranger-led nature walks along a network of sustainable trails. For an exceptional event experience, MICE groups can enjoy the award-winning "Breakfast in the Park," a delightful occasion in the park's natural setting.

The town of San Nicolas, located south of Aruba's main hotel zones and about a 30-minute drive away, is a colorful testament to the island's heritage. Known as the birthplace of Aruba's prized Carnival, it is now a cultural and artistic hub in the Caribbean. The heart of San Nicolas has undergone a profound transformation in the last decade, respecting the old while embracing the new by restoring and repurposing historic buildings into museums and galleries. But what truly stands out here is the street art. The annual Aruba Art Fair brings together some of the world's best muralists and street artists to literally paint the town. The result is a vibrant open-air gallery where visitors to the island can stroll through the downtown streets or enjoy an informative walking tour with guides who explain the various murals and their artists.
Aruba's talented DMC teams have drawn inspiration from this authentic setting, organizing unforgettable evening events amidst these historic streets, often incorporating Carnival elements into their programs. Imagine the rhythms of a brass band kicking off a festive event, followed by Carnival dancers in grand costumes, filling the air with the characteristic joy of Aruba's most special time of year. Beyond San Nicolas, DMCs have collaborated with organizers to bring Carnival-themed experiences to hotel ballrooms and even the beach.

Carnival offers a glimpse into Aruba's year-round community spirit. With over 100 nationalities living in harmony, the close ties and mutual respect have contributed to Aruba's reputation as the Happy Island. Inspired by this community spirit, the Aruba Convention Bureau created the CSR Group Experience Guide in collaboration with CEDE Aruba, a local NGO that identifies foundations and community organizations that benefit Aruba socially and environmentally. CEDE Aruba's community-based solutions contribute to the allocation of millions of dollars to high-impact initiatives that fund hundreds of projects and mobilize thousands of volunteers annually. The CSR Guide helps MICE groups identify projects that inspire attendees, meet client goals and standards, foster personal and professional growth, and make a significant difference in the Aruban community. MICE groups can choose from a variety of experiences, from animal welfare projects such as volunteering at the Aruba Donkey Sanctuary, assisting community members in need with engaging activities, to fun and entertaining projects to enrich the island's youth.
From the community to the culture and the award-winning beaches to the innate sense of warm island hospitality that is practically in the DNA of the locals, MICE groups leave the island with a phenomenon known as the Aruba Effect, a lasting and rejuvenating effect that stays with guests long after they leave.

LATAM air bridge update:
As Argentina continues to be an important growth market for Aruba, ranking as the island's second-largest Latin American market, Aerolineas Argentinas launched a new direct service (operating from three gateways) in early 2026. Originally planned as a two-month seasonal operation to accommodate Argentina's busy summer travel season, strong initial performance resulted in an extension of the air service through September of this year.
Aerolíneas Argentinas route structure (January-February 2026)
The addition of Aerolineas Argentinas flights further enhances Aruba's superior air connectivity: direct flights from Latin America via Copa Airlines (Panama), Avianca (Bogota), Latam (Lima) and GOL (São Paulo).
