At the Mexican Caribbean Pavilion, World Capital of Vacations, the governor of Quintana Roo, Mara Lezama Espinosa, held a strategic meeting with Gustavo Viescas, president of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, one of the most important hotel groups globally.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts currently operates more than 8,300 hotels worldwide, and Mexico ranks as the sixth country with the brand's largest presence. Within this context, Quintana Roo has solidified its position as the leading state nationwide, boasting 15 hotels and over 5,000 rooms, a number that continues to grow.

During the meeting, the governor highlighted the hotel group's sustained commitment to the destination, as well as its focus on continuously improving the quality of the visitor experience, strengthening the Mexican Caribbean's tourism offering in its new positioning as the Vacation Capital of the World.

The meeting also served to reaffirm the confidence of the international hotel sector in Quintana Roo and to ratify its leadership as one of the main tourism drivers in Mexico, boosting the development, investment and competitiveness of the destination at a global level.
