The year 2025 marked a transformative period for the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, located on Merritt Island, near Cape Canaveral and less than an hour from Orlando. During this time, the complex expanded its immersive offerings, incorporated new perspectives on space exploration, and solidified its position as one of the most comprehensive experiences for understanding humanity's journey into space. This positioning was recognized when it was chosen as the number one attraction in the United States in the 2025 Travelers' Choice Awards.

Among the main new features are two additions that redefine the visitor experience. The Gantry at LC-39, located in the historic Launch Complex 39, offers an elevated walkway with exhibits and panoramic views that allow visitors to observe the launch pads, operational areas, and the surrounding nature reserve, integrating history, technology, and the natural environment into a 360-degree experience.

ATX Plus, meanwhile, offers a direct approach to an astronaut's routine. The activity includes microgravity training, piloting rover vehicles, virtual walks on Mars, and simulations inspired by real missions, followed by a tour of the complex with a deeper understanding of the challenges and achievements of space exploration.

These experiences are complemented by iconic attractions such as the Apollo/Saturn V Center, the Space Shuttle Atlantis®, the Rocket Garden and Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex®, spaces that combine historical artifacts, contemporary technology and simulators that project the future of missions to the Moon, Mars and beyond.

New opportunities for 2026

With a busy schedule of events, the chance to witness actual launches, and activities designed for all ages, 2026 is shaping up to be an ideal year for family visits. Experiences like Astronaut Encounter, where NASA veterans share their stories, and Planet Play, a fun space for younger children, reinforce the educational and emotional nature of the experience.

The complex also features restaurants, themed areas, and shops specially designed for families, making each visit a comprehensive and inspiring experience.

Exclusive promotion for Latin America

Looking ahead to 2026, the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is offering a special promotion for Latin American visitors. The Gateway Package includes a combined admission ticket with dining credit at the Orbit Cafe and discounts at the Space Shop. This promotion, available exclusively through travel agencies, is on sale until February 28 and can be used until December 31, offering flexibility to plan your visit at the best time of year.
