Arajet, the flag carrier of the Dominican Republic, officially inaugurated its new corporate offices in an event that brought together authorities, strategic partners and media representatives, where it also presented the achievements reached during the year 2025 and its growth vision for 2026.

Arajet CEO and founder Víctor Pacheco Méndez highlighted the airline's record-breaking performance last year. “2025 was an extraordinary year for Arajet. We transported 1,480,278 passengers, representing a 37% increase compared to the previous year. Of that total, more than 1.2 million flew to or from the Dominican Republic, demonstrating the direct impact of our operations on the country's tourism and connectivity,” said Pacheco Méndez.

He detailed that the destinations with the highest passenger traffic were Medellín, Bogotá, Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Lima, Miami, São Paulo, Newark, Cancún and San Juan, while the countries with the highest traffic were Colombia, Mexico, the United States, Argentina and Peru.

He also highlighted that between July and December 2025, Arajet positioned itself as the third most important airline in passenger traffic to and from the Dominican Republic, and in 2026 they project to transport more than 2 million passengers.

Pacheco announced that this year they will inaugurate cargo services at Arajet, in addition to launching a loyalty program and a brand credit card, as well as opening new routes in both South America and the United States.

During the event, Arajet's role as a key asset for the development of Dominican tourism was highlighted, thanks to its impact on air connectivity, the increase in visitor flow and its contribution to the sustainability of the sector, consolidating itself as the fastest growing Dominican airline in the country.

In this regard, the strategic importance of Punta Cana International Airport and Las Américas International Airport was emphasized as key drivers of regional expansion, strengthening the Caribbean's connection with North, Central, and South America, and positioning the Dominican Republic as the new air hub of the Americas.

Among the most significant milestones for 2025, Arajet's entry into the United States market with routes to New York, Miami, Puerto Rico, Chicago, Orlando, and Boston was highlighted, as well as its membership in the International Air Transport Association (IATA), making it the first Dominican airline in 30 years to achieve this distinction.

Arajet currently operates a fleet of 13 aircraft and projects to end 2026 with 17 planes, with new additions scheduled between March and autumn of this year. The airline also estimates carrying nearly two million passengers in 2026, solidifying its position as one of the country's leading airlines.
