By 2026, the company projects to surpass the 2 million passenger mark.
The results were presented during the official opening of the company's new corporate offices in Santo Domingo, an event that brought together authorities, strategic partners and representatives of the press, where Arajet also shared its growth vision for 2026.
According to Arajet's CEO and founder, Víctor Pacheco Méndez, more than 1.2 million passengers will have traveled to or from the Dominican Republic in 2025, reinforcing the impact of the company's operation on air connectivity and tourism in the country.
“2025 was an extraordinary year for Arajet. We transported more than 1.48 million passengers, a 37% increase compared to the previous year. Of that total, more than 1.2 million flew to or from the Dominican Republic, demonstrating the direct impact of our operation on tourism and connectivity in the country,” stated Pacheco Méndez.
Among the destinations with the highest passenger volume are Medellín, Bogotá, Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Lima, Miami, São Paulo, Newark, Cancún, and San Juan. The countries with the highest traffic were Colombia, Mexico, the United States, Argentina, and Peru.
The Argentinian market was one of the highlights of the period, with growth of 102.1% between 2024 and 2025. Between July and December 2025, Arajet positioned itself as the third largest airline in passenger traffic to and from the Dominican Republic.
For 2026, the company announced the launch of its air cargo operation, in addition to the start of its loyalty program and a branded credit card. The expansion plan also includes the opening of new routes in South America and the United States.
During the event, Arajet's role as a relevant asset for the development of Dominican tourism was highlighted, boosting air connectivity and visitor flow. In this context, the international airports of Punta Cana and Las Américas were emphasized as strategic hubs for regional expansion, connecting the Caribbean to North, Central, and South America, and positioning the Dominican Republic as an air hub in the Americas.
Among the key milestones for 2025, Arajet's entry into the United States market stands out, with flights to New York, Miami, Puerto Rico, Chicago, Orlando, and Boston, in addition to its incorporation into IATA, becoming the first Dominican airline in over 30 years to obtain this certification.
Currently, Arajet operates a fleet of 13 aircraft and projects to end 2026 with 17 aircraft, with new deliveries scheduled between March and the second half of the year.
