Paradisus by Meliá Bali officially opens its doors, marking the arrival in Asia of Meliá Hotels International's luxury all-inclusive brand. Nestled in Nusa Dua, on the south coast of Bali (Indonesia), the new resort redefines the all-inclusive concept with an offering where well-being, personalized experiences, and a connection with the destination take center stage. An elegant retreat that invites guests to disconnect, rediscover, and embrace the island's natural rhythm.
“Bali holds a very special place in Meliá’s history, having been the destination that welcomed our first international hotel in Asia more than four decades ago,” says Gabriel Escarrer, President and CEO of Meliá Hotels International. “Today, we are thrilled to see that legacy evolve with the opening of Paradisus by Meliá Bali, the brand’s first hotel in the region, located on one of the island’s most iconic beaches. This resort offers a new way to experience a destination that many travelers think they know, inviting them to discover it from a deeper, more authentic, and connected perspective.”
Guided by the Wellness Designed by Destination brand philosophy, Paradisus by Meliá Bali draws inspiration from the island's culture, nature, and rhythm of life, integrating its traditions and environment into every detail of the experience. This approach prioritizes simplicity and naturalness, giving guests the perfect space to reconnect with themselves, with others, and with the most authentic essence of Bali.
The resort offers 492 luxury suites, including seven private garden villas, along with four swimming pools, eight dining options, and three bars, all surrounded by lush tropical gardens overlooking the Indian Ocean. Its concept combines spaciousness, privacy, and diversity, complemented by personalized experiences tailored to different travel styles and approaches to well-being.
A new concept of all-inclusive luxury
Paradisus by Meliá Bali presents a renewed interpretation of the All Inclusive concept, designed so that guests can enjoy the destination without worrying about daily planning.
The offer includes access to all restaurants, poolside snacks, 24-hour room service, a minibar with daily replenishment, and a selection of premium drinks at preferential rates.
The experience is enhanced by Destination Inclusive®, a hallmark of the Paradisus brand, a program of included experiences both within and outside the resort, designed to connect with Balinese culture and nature. These include activities for all guests, such as the Devan Show at the Bali Nusa Dua Theatre, which celebrates Indonesian cultural diversity through traditional music and dance, or exclusive adult-only experiences that allow guests to explore sacred temples and villages like Belulang, where they can immerse themselves in the island's local traditions.
Within the resort, daily cultural experiences such as Lontar script or Balinese dance are offered. Younger guests can participate in local craft workshops such as Janur creations (coconut leaf decorations) or kite making.
Spaces adapted to every travel style
One of the most distinctive elements of Paradisus by Meliá Bali is the creation of spaces designed so that each guest can design their own experience and adapt to the personal rhythm of the person experiencing it.
The resort's seven luxury villas—five one-bedroom and two-bedroom—have been designed for those seeking a more private and exclusive getaway. Each villa features a private pool and garden, an outdoor table and shower, as well as special touches such as a Balinese rattan bag, a sarong, a hat, and a yoga mat. Villa guests can also enjoy a private sunset cruise.
The Reserve offers an adults-only (16+) retreat with dedicated rooms and suites, access to private beach and pool areas, personalized arrival and departure services, and exclusive dining spaces.
Families will find their haven at Family Concierge, which elevates the family experience with spacious suites adapted for children, access to a reserved beach area, a family-friendly restaurant, and a dedicated check-in area with a play area. They will also have full access to the resort's daily activity program.
Teenagers (13–18 years old) also have their own dedicated space at Teens Club, with activities designed just for them. And for family time, the resort offers the Aquazone water park, water slides, various sports facilities, and even a karaoke room.
The resort also includes a large ballroom for destination weddings and large celebrations, along with eight meeting rooms for private or corporate events, all supported by the largest LED screen in the Nusa Dua area.
Bali-inspired wellness
Wellbeing takes center stage in the Paradisus by Meliá Bali experience, deeply influenced by the island's rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
The resort offers daily wellness activities ranging from practices like breathwork, sound baths, and meditation. To stay active, the resort features a 24-hour gym with personalized training, paddle tennis courts, a golf simulator, and a wide range of non-motorized water sports such as paddleboarding, surfing, and kayaking—ideal for combining movement and well-being within a balanced all-inclusive concept.
The YHI Spa is a true haven within the resort: a space immersed in tropical gardens with 12 treatment rooms, a circuit pool, sauna, jacuzzi and relaxation areas designed to reconnect body and mind, whether on a short visit or a deeper wellness journey.
Global gastronomy with a local essence
The culinary experience at Paradisus by Meliá Bali takes you on a journey through flavors of the world with eight restaurants, three bars and a local cafe.
Malva offers international and local cuisine in a relaxed garden setting; Peseta celebrates Spanish heritage with classic recipes, tapas, and selected wines; and Kanna Beach Restaurant invites you to enjoy South American flavors and fresh seafood by the sea.
The proposal is completed by Samira, with Middle Eastern cuisine; Tokimeku, specializing in sushi and robatayaki; ARUM, which combines Indonesian gastronomy with daily cultural performances; Sante, an elegant space exclusively for guests of The Reserve (adults); and The Shack, perfect for snacks and light options by the pool.
The Ginger Bar, The Mixton Bar and The Deck Beach Bar complement the experience with premium cocktails and drinks throughout the day.
