Chile boosts its global tourism promotion with the new Chile.travel platform

The revamped platform has established itself as a key tool for the country's digital promotion, offering a more intuitive, visual, and functional experience for travelers planning their visit from international markets

The redesign was part of a strategy to facilitate travel planning and improve the user experience, especially in long-haul markets. The platform was presented to industry leaders as part of a comprehensive plan to modernize tourism promotion.

The site has incorporated technical and content improvements that broaden its global reach. Among the main new features is the addition of French, which joins Spanish, English, Portuguese, and German, strengthening its position in European markets.

The new version offers interactive maps, geolocation, route planners, suggested itineraries, search engines with optimized filters, and a section of practical recommendations for visitors. It also features faster loading times, improved security standards, and an architecture ready to integrate artificial intelligence solutions in the future.

Beyond its informative role, the platform functions as a true travel planning center, integrating experiences, attractions and tourism products from all over the country, from the north to Patagonia and Rapa Nui.

This update is part of an international positioning strategy that seeks to strengthen the presence in source markets, improve the competitiveness of the sector and facilitate the conversion of interest into real visits.
