The International Air Transport Association (IATA) calls on the relevant authorities and stakeholders to prioritize dialogue and ensure the continuity of immigration services at Colombia's various international airports. The proper provision of these services is essential for the smooth operation of air travel.

Given this situation, and emphasizing that any delays are beyond the control of the airlines, it is recommended to check the status of your flights in advance, pay attention to official airline and airport authority information channels, and arrive at the airport earlier than usual. Additionally, it is recommended to register in the Biomig system and use the online kiosks whenever possible.

IATA will continue to work in coordination with airlines, airport operators, authorities and other actors in the value chain linked to Colombia's international terminals, hoping for a prompt resolution of the situation that will allow the preservation of connectivity, the efficient flow of air traffic and passenger flight plans.
