Avianca announced the reactivation of its direct route between Bogotá and Caracas, which will begin operating on February 12, 2026 with daily frequency, after a comprehensive evaluation of the operational and air safety conditions, carried out in coordination with the competent authorities.
With this decision, the airline resumes a strategic connection between Colombia and Venezuela, reinforcing its long-standing presence in the country. Avianca has over 106 years of experience connecting destinations in the region and, in the case of Venezuela, has over six decades of operations, maintaining safety as a core principle on every flight.
The reactivation of this route represents a new boost for air connectivity between both markets and contributes to the development of binational commercial and tourist activity, in line with the company's strategy to strengthen its network in Latin America.
The flights will operate as follows:
Bogotá – Caracas (AV142): Departure 7:40 / Arrival 10:40
Caracas – Bogotá (AV143): Departure 12:10 / Arrival 13:15
Frequency: Daily
