Bermuda will host the CTO Air Connectivity Summit 2026, a strategic meeting that will bring together tourism leaders, airline executives, airport authorities and industry experts to analyze the role of air connectivity in the growth of tourism in the Caribbean.

The summit will take place on February 24, 2026, at The Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, as part of the Caribbean Tourism Organization's Spring Business Meetings. Under the theme "Integrating Aviation and Regional Tourism Development," the event aims to establish itself as a platform for dialogue to address one of the Caribbean's main challenges: improving international and intra-regional air access and strengthening the competitiveness of its destinations.

The program will include high-level presentations, panels on route development, a ministerial dialogue on air transport policy, and sessions focusing on the relationship between airport infrastructure and tourism growth. In addition, a specialized study on air connectivity will be released to inform strategic decision-making.

Confirmed participants include tourism ministers, directors of national agencies, executives from international airlines, airport authorities, and route development consultants, who will analyze opportunities to expand frequencies, diversify source markets, and optimize connectivity between islands.

The summit's collaborative approach aims to generate concrete solutions to high operating costs, fragmented routes, and limitations in regional connectivity. Through exchange between the public and private sectors, the summit will seek to foster partnerships that promote visitor flow and the sustainable growth of Caribbean destinations.

In a context of intense regional competition, air connectivity is becoming a key factor for tourism development. This meeting is envisioned as a strategic opportunity to build a roadmap that strengthens regional integration and enhances the Caribbean's position as a global destination.
