Air Europa is further elevating the excellence of its gastronomic offering with a new high-level proposal. The airline has begun working with Mario Sandoval, chef of the two-Michelin-starred restaurant “Coque”, to create Business Class menus on its medium-haul routes. The collaboration involves bringing together, under the same brand, the Madrid-based chef with Martín Berasategui, who for years has designed the exclusive culinary offerings served in Business Class on long-haul flights.
The new dishes, served on board since February 1st, stand out for their originality and respect for quality and local products, aspects of Sandoval's personal style. In this way, the company reinforces its commitment to customer service, offering clients not only personalized attention but also the opportunity to savor these signature creations.
Business class passengers on European routes can choose from four complete menus designed to surprise the senses and satisfy the most discerning palates. From duck prosciutto and brie salad with kiwi vinaigrette to pasta sheets with smoked trout and flowers, or coffee with chocolate cream and cocoa and salt crumble, each dish allows you to take a journey where flavors travel together, combining the finest produce with the most delicate preparations.
Mario Sandoval's work joins Air Europa's long-standing relationship with another international master, Martín Berasategui, thus forming a unique duo in the world of commercial aviation. The Basque chef, who will continue to oversee the in-flight service for Business Class on long-haul flights, has just completed 50 years of work in the field of haute cuisine, which is why he received recognition at the Air Europa stand at this latest edition of Fitur.
