Looking for a different way to extend summer with great wine, food, and traditions? The 2026 Wine Harvest Festival season in Chile is packed: more than 40 celebrations from Arica and Parinacota to La Araucanía, with activities for couples, friends, or families. The route kicks off on February 13, 14, and 15 with the Palmilla Wine Harvest Festival and continues until May 29 with the University of Talca's University Wine Harvest Festival, ideal for those who want to travel beyond the typical summer destinations.

In recent years, the Wine Harvest Festivals have become established as unique tourist experiences, where wine serves as the starting point for exploring the region, its culture, and its identity. More than just a one-off event, they are now planned, anticipated, and highly recommended activities that attract diverse audiences and inspire weekend getaways throughout the country.

Grape harvest festivals are more than just tastings: they are complete experiences. According to the 2025 Visitor Profile, prepared by the Undersecretariat of Tourism, Enoturismo Chile, and the University of Talca, the audience is predominantly female (61%) and has strong local ties, as 77.9% of attendees come from the same region where the festival takes place. Furthermore, 26.3% are experiencing their first grape harvest festival, while 62.2% participate in one or more per season, demonstrating a high level of loyalty.

Added to this is a high rating of the experience: 79.2% of attendees rate the harvest festivals with a score of 6 or 7, highlighting aspects such as safety, attention at the stands and the ease of access to glasses and tasting tickets, key elements to enjoy these events with peace of mind.

The 2026 calendar offers a diverse range of events across Chile. Traditional and iconic harvest festivals—such as the Curicó Harvest Festival, the oldest in the country, or the Colchagua Harvest Festival, one of the largest and most renowned—coexist with celebrations that stand out for their unique character and identity. These include a harvest festival in the heart of the desert in the Pampa del Tamarugal; an urban harvest festival in Barrio Italia, bringing the countryside to the city; the Pirque Wine Festival, celebrating its 100th anniversary with more than 30 wineries; rural experiences with traditional grape crushing and country cuisine; and unique attractions like the "train of memories" in the Aconcagua Valley.

To facilitate planning and access to this extensive program, Enoturismo Chile de Corfo has made the Harvest Festival Map available to the public on its website, a practical tool that allows users to search for festivals by date, valley or type of event, check how to get there and learn about the schedule of each celebration, facilitating informed and accessible participation.

“One of the main challenges has been to organize and make this information available in a clear and useful way for people. Today, through the Harvest Map, anyone can plan their visit in advance, find out about the dates, how to get there, and experience the harvest in a much simpler and more complete way,” says Alicia Ortiz, manager of Enoturismo Chile.

Harvest Festivals with the Seal: Outstanding Experiences at the National Level
This season also invites you to discover the 8 Harvest Festivals that have the Vendimias de Chile 2025 Seal (Colchagua, Curicó, Casablanca, Isla de Maipo, Marchigüe, Portezuelo, Valle del Maipo and University of Talca), a recognition that distinguishes celebrations that meet standards of good practices, quality in organization and focus on the visitor experience.

This season we also have 18 Wine Harvest Festivals applying for the 2026 Seal, 8 for renewal and 10 new ones, committed to promoting continuous improvement in services, staging and connection with the territory.
