The announcement represents a key step in the evolution of GoNexus Group as it expands its digital platforms and destination experience ecosystem.
“GoNexus Group is entering a new phase,” said Rubén Gutiérrez, president of GoNexus Group. “To maintain our momentum, we need a leadership structure that allows us to move faster, operate smarter, and execute with clarity across all markets. This governance model is about enabling expansion with discipline.”
As of December 1, 2025, GoNexus Group implemented a governance framework aligned with its A4I (Accelerate for Impact) strategy, based on clear accountability, trust in leadership, and cross-functional collaboration between destinations, products, and technology platforms.
At the heart of this model is the creation of the GoNexus Board of Directors, an integrated executive team responsible for ensuring alignment between strategy, culture, efficiency, execution, and innovation across the organization.
The Board is structured around four strategic vice presidencies, designed to connect key teams, processes and decisions, while supporting a cohesive and high-performing operation:
Destination and Operations Excellence: Dunesky González, Vice President.
Leads operational excellence and consistency across all destinations, overseeing guest experience, omnichannel sales, and on-the-ground operations.
Growth and Strategy: Luisa Oyarzabal, Executive Vice President. Drives global growth strategy, product innovation, business expansion, and strategic partnerships across all GoNexus Group platforms and markets (including NexusCube, Travel Partner Success, Hospitality, and Global DMC Network).
Corporate Services: Jesús Rocha, Executive Vice President.
Oversees financial discipline, governance, scalability, data analytics, automation, and the technology infrastructure that supports global operations.
People and Performance: Melisa Sordo, Vice President.
Leads culture, talent development, performance management, regulatory frameworks, and responsible business practices across all teams.
This leadership structure is designed to eliminate silos, accelerate execution, and support a data-driven, technology-enabled organization operating at scale.
The evolution of governance is based on the strong operational and technological momentum announced by the company in December, following a historic fiscal year marked by rapid customer growth, geographical expansion, and significant advances in digital platforms such as NexusTours App and NexusCube.
"With this structure, we are well positioned to maintain our growth and continue leading innovation across the entire travel and tourism technology ecosystem," Gutiérrez added.
Looking ahead, GoNexus Group is focused on expanding across the Americas, preparing for its future entry into Europe, and continuing to invest in automation, AI-powered personalization, and scalable travel technology solutions, while delivering seamless and memorable destination experiences.
