Aruba's Eagle Beach leads the Caribbean ranking in the 2026 Travellers' Choice Awards
The international recognition, based on user ratings, also placed Palm Beach among the best in the region
Eagle Beach was recognized as the best beach in the Caribbean and fourth worldwide in TripAdvisor's Travellers' Choice Awards Best of the Best 2026 , one of the most influential lists in international tourism, compiled from verified opinions of millions of travelers.
In the same edition, Palm Beach ranked sixth regionally, reinforcing Aruba's position as one of the best-rated coastal destinations both in the Caribbean and globally.
The Travellers' Choice Best of the Best awards represent the highest accolade given by the platform and recognize the top 1% of places worldwide, based on the quality and quantity of reviews for accommodations, dining, activities, and experiences over a twelve-month period. The rankings were based on user reviews submitted between October 1, 2024, and September 30, 2025.
Jordan Schlipken, director of the Aruba Tourism Authority, noted that the recognition reflects the experience that visitors from different countries find in the destination and the collaborative work of the local tourism sector. He explained that the result demonstrates the so-called “Aruba Effect,” linked to hospitality, responsible tourism management, and the overall quality of the experience.
The country continues to solidify its appeal among international travelers thanks to favorable natural conditions year-round, such as white-sand beaches free of sargassum and its location outside the main hurricane belt. This new recognition reinforces its global reputation and anticipates a positive tourism outlook for 2026.
