The Wyndham Bogotá hotel continues to solidify its position as a leading hotel in the Colombian capital, backed by the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts network. Its strategy combines a strategic location, infrastructure geared towards business travelers, and sustained investment in technology and service.

This vision will be especially evident during their participation in the ANATO 2026 Tourism Showcase, the leading event for the tourism industry in Colombia and one of the most important in Latin America. The establishment is also preparing to welcome national and international visitors associated with the event, positioning itself as an accommodation option for industry professionals.

Located in the Salitre sector, a few blocks from Corferias and 15 minutes from El Dorado International Airport, the hotel integrates specialized services, spaces for congresses and meetings and facilities geared towards the business traveler, contributing to the development of corporate and meeting tourism in the city.

General Manager Luis Guillermo Galvis stated that the modernization is part of a long-term vision based on investment in human talent, technology, and infrastructure to meet the new demands of the industry and strengthen Bogotá's position as a regional business and events center.

Investment in innovation and technological upgrades

As part of its comprehensive modernization plan, launched in 2025, the hotel is progressing through various phases aimed at improving the guest experience and its technological operations. Initial actions include the implementation of Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, which provides greater speed and stability for guests and meeting attendees.

The room locks were also upgraded with Bluetooth technology, allowing access via mobile devices through integration with the chain's digital platforms. Subsequently, work began on five rooms in the convention center's Foyer #1 and a complete renovation of the main lobby.

The renovation includes the reception area, common rooms, business center, the Open Gallery bar, and the addition of a new convenience store. Simultaneously, the restaurant is evolving towards a classic Italian cuisine concept with a new menu.

Spaces geared towards meetings tourism

The hotel also began renovations to the Wyndham Grand Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 400 people, incorporating natural lighting, new projection systems, audio equipment, and screens. The project also includes the remodeling of all 261 guest rooms and suites, the VIP lounge on the 9th floor, and the creation of a new event space.

These improvements accompany the growth of the MICE segment in Bogotá and the transformation of the Salitre area into a financial and corporate hub, driven by projects such as the National Administrative Center and new urban infrastructure.

Growth prospects

Looking ahead to 2026, the hotel projects revenue growth of approximately 16%, supported by a consolidated operation and a team with 13 years of experience. In a challenging yet favorable environment for business tourism, the hotel's presence at ANATO 2026 reinforces its commitment to strengthening the local tourism ecosystem and offering experiences aligned with international standards.
