This performance reinforces the company's sustainable growth strategy and lays the foundation for further acceleration of development in 2026.

“Our continued progress reflects the strength of our diverse portfolio, the confidence of our owners, and our commitment to delivering relevant and differentiated experiences to travelers,” said Larry Cuculic, president and CEO of BWH Hotels. “The expansion recorded in 2025 demonstrates the strength of our business models and the support we provide to hoteliers. In 2026, we will continue to move into new destinations and evolve our brands to meet current and future market demands.”

Latin America in the spotlight.
In Latin America, BWH Hotels recorded an equally positive year. In 2025, the group expanded into two new destinations, Honduras and Suriname, and strengthened its presence in already established markets in the region, adding approximately 1,500 new rooms to its regional portfolio.

“It was a year of consistent progress for Latin America,” highlights Richard Rewhaldt, Vice President of BWH Hotels for the region. “Our strategy is focused on qualified expansion that generates value for both travelers and investors. This positioning is key to further strengthening BWH Hotels’ presence in the region and globally.”

Key milestones and trends for 2025:
BWH Hotels consolidates its position as the second largest soft brand operator in the sector, driven by the performance of WorldHotels, BW Signature Collection®, and BW Premier Collection®. These brands respond to the growing demand for flexibility, local identity, and unique offerings.

Aiden® by Best Western continues to be one of the group's main conversion opportunities, with more than 50 hotels under development and 35 in operation, spread across 15 countries, combining contemporary design and a strong connection to the destination.

Wellness and outdoor experiences gained relevance in 2025, especially within the WorldHotels portfolio, with the signing of contracts for new spas and three glamping projects.

Growth in smaller, more dynamic cities with strong cultural appeal was prominent not only in the Americas, but also in Europe and Asia.

The first WorldHotels Residences, located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, is in its final stages of construction. Meanwhile, extended-stay properties—such as @HOME by Best WesternSM, Executive Residency by Best Western®, and SureStay Studio® by Best Western—continue to expand, particularly in North America.

Outlook for 2026
With more than 230 properties in its global pipeline, BWH Hotels begins 2026 demonstrating confidence and consistency in its international growth strategy.

“We started the year with an extremely positive outlook. In Brazil, in Latin America, and globally, we see a favorable scenario for consolidating an increasingly diversified portfolio that is aligned with market needs,” concludes Luis Alberto Tito, Development Director of BWH Hotels LATAM.
