Puerto Plata will promote its tourism offerings and connectivity with South America during ANATO 2026

The destination reaffirms its commitment to strengthening its international positioning by confirming its participation in the ANATO International Tourism Fair, which will be held from February 25 to 27, 2026 at the Corferias fairgrounds in Bogotá, Colombia

The delegation will be led by the Puerto Plata Destination Tourism Cluster, the Association of Hotels, Restaurants and Tourism Companies of the North (ASHONORTE), the Association of Hotels, Condominiums and Commercial Establishments of Playa Dorada, the Association of Hotels, Restaurants and Tourism Companies of Sosúa and Cabarete (ASHORESOCA), the Northern Regional Office of the Ministry of Tourism (MITUR), the Municipal Government of Puerto Plata and Copa Airlines, consolidating an articulated representation of the hotel and tourism sector of the province before one of the main marketing scenarios in Latin America.

As part of this institutional participation, member companies of these associations have confirmed their presence, including VH Hotels & Resorts, Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Resort, Runners Adventures, Ocean World Adventure Park, Caribbean Adventure Tours, Ocean Winds, Manureva Tours, Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada, BlueBay Villas Doradas, Viva Resorts by Wyndham, Amhsa Marina Hotels & Resorts, Coral Hospitality Corp. (Holiday Inn Puerto Plata and Green One Playa Dorada) and ADOMPRETUR, thus strengthening the comprehensive projection of the destination to the Colombian market and the Southern Cone.

As part of the official agenda, several presentations will be given on the Puerto Plata destination, highlighting its key differentiating attributes, the diversity of its tourism offerings, and its air connectivity. Special emphasis will be placed on the route operated by Copa Airlines, which facilitates access from various South American markets to the Dominican Republic's North Coast, thus strengthening the destination's international standing.

These presentations will be developed in a format designed to strengthen business relationships, generate new business opportunities, and consolidate strategic alliances in this important market.

The presence at ANATO 2026 is part of the destination's international promotion strategy, aimed at strengthening its competitiveness, diversifying source markets and establishing Puerto Plata as one of the most complete and attractive destinations in the Caribbean.
