Regent Seven Seas Cruises® announced the signing of an agreement with the Italian shipyard Fincantieri for the construction of a fourth ship in its Prestige-class series, scheduled for delivery in 2036. This new order follows the debut of the Seven Seas Prestige™, slated for December 2026, and will be followed by the second and third ships in the class, entering service in 2030 and 2033, respectively. All ships will be built in Italy.
“It is with great enthusiasm that we announce a fourth Prestige-class ship, an investment that reaffirms our commitment to leading the ultra-luxury cruise market for the next decade and beyond,” said Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. He also noted that when Seven Seas Prestige went on sale in June 2025, it recorded the highest booking day in the company’s history for a new ship launch.
The Prestige Class will mark the company's first new generation of ships in a decade. The Seven Seas Prestige will be approximately 40% larger than previous vessels, though with only 10% more capacity, prioritizing the "Unmatched Space at Sea®" concept. At 77,000 tons and with capacity for 822 guests served by a crew of 630, it will offer one of the greatest ratios of space and personalized service in the cruise industry.
Balcony suites usher in a new era in ultra-luxury accommodations, with 12 distinct categories and four new suite types, including the Skyview Regent Suite, designed as the largest all-inclusive suite ever installed on a cruise ship. Public spaces will include bright and sophisticated areas such as the Starlight Atrium and Galileo's Bar.
On the culinary front, the ship will feature 11 dining experiences. These will include Azure, a new Mediterranean mezze concept, as well as iconic restaurants such as Chartreuse, Prime 7, and Pacific Rim. The experience will be further enhanced by unlimited shore excursions at every port, gourmet cuisine, premium wines and spirits, onboard entertainment, Starlink Wi-Fi, valet laundry service, prepaid gratuities, and a complimentary night at a hotel before embarkation for guests in Concierge Suites and above.
The inaugural season of the Seven Seas Prestige will explore destinations in the Caribbean and Europe with 13 itineraries. The maiden voyage will depart on December 13, 2026, with a 14-night transatlantic crossing from Barcelona to Miami. Subsequently, the ship will sail the Eastern and Western Caribbean, transit the Panama Canal, and visit cities in Western Europe, including itineraries around the Iberian Peninsula and the French Riviera with stops in ports such as St. Lucia, Cartagena, and Bordeaux.
