Franck Muller presents the Rally Maya Mexico 2026 Special Edition: the luxury of jade meets the spirit of motorsport
The Swiss watchmaker is launching a commemorative collection inspired by Mayan culture and will participate as the main sponsor of the twelfth edition of the classic car rally
Franck Muller unveiled its new Rally Maya Mexico 2026 Special Edition, a limited series of watches created to celebrate the twelfth edition of the renowned classic car rally. Designed and manufactured in Switzerland, the timepieces combine watchmaking tradition with automotive heritage and the cultural symbolism of the Mayan world.
The watch features a Vanguard Slim case in satin-finished steel, with curved lines and robust sides that reinforce its sporty character. The dial, in a deep, almost black green, evokes the jade used by ancient Mayan civilizations and features a geometric guilloché pattern inspired by Bentley's grille, creating visual variations depending on the light. The official Rally Maya Mexico logo is integrated into the inner part of the case, while the name of the competition is located at the center of the dial, reinforcing the connection between mechanical engineering, timekeeping, and cultural heritage.
The collection, named Rally Maya Mexico 12, is conceived as a commemorative collector's item. For this edition, the brand will produce 60 exclusive units for the Mexican market: 25 41mm steel watches, 25 41mm rose gold watches, and 10 35mm steel women's models.
In addition to unveiling the vehicle, the brand will actively participate in the event. As the main sponsor of the Rally Maya Mexico, Franck Muller will host the opening dinner, the classic car show, and will preside over the "Best of Show" awards ceremony in Palenque, Chiapas, where the most outstanding cars will be recognized with trophies crafted from automotive parts.
The company will also maintain its social commitment by donating a portion of the sales of this special edition to charitable causes. With this launch, Franck Muller reaffirms its connection to one of the country's most iconic motorsport competitions and celebrates, through an aesthetic inspired by Mayan jade, the union between watchmaking precision and a passion for classic cars.
